11–12 weeks

From the beginning of the 11th week, the embryo has officially been deemed a fetus — we congratulate you, this is your first joint victory, and the first of many!

Your tiny one has formed all the important parts of his body, and now his main task will be to improve and develop his organs and grow intensively. Only in these couple of weeks, he will grow almost 2 times (up to 9 cm (3.5 in) from the crown to the tailbone!)

The baby has a nose (before the nostrils were sealed with mucus), and the eyes are still closed, but the eyelid now completely covers the entire eye. His eyes continue to move to the front of his face.
