A pregnancy tracker that doesn't make you do the work

Weight, belly, blood pressure, glucose, kicks, contractions, symptoms, mood, sleep, hydration, nutrition and supplements — in one place, on one timeline, and mostly without typing. Then one tap turns the whole thing into a PDF for your midwife.

What you can track

Body

Weight gain, belly circumference, blood pressure and blood glucose

Weight is charted against where you are, not against a stranger — the line that matters is your own curve over the weeks. Belly, blood pressure and glucose sit on the same timeline, which is what makes them useful at an appointment.

Baby

Kick counter and contraction timer

Count movements with a tap and see the pattern build across sessions, so a quiet afternoon is something you can check rather than something you worry about. When it's time, the contraction timer records length and spacing — the two numbers the hospital asks for on the phone.

How you feel

Symptoms with severity, mood, and sleep

Logged with real timestamps, so "three times a week since week 22" replaces "quite often". Sleep and mood sit beside the physical entries because they usually explain each other.

Food & nutrition

Photograph a meal — protein, iron, folate, calcium, DHA, choline, fibre and caffeine

Point the camera at your plate and Hello Belly reads it, then logs the nutrients that matter in pregnancy against sensible daily targets. It reads supplement labels the same way, so your prenatal counts toward the same picture instead of living in a separate list. Hydration is a tap.

Movement

Steps, active energy, exercise minutes and resting heart rate

Two-way Apple Health sync, so whatever your watch already knows arrives on its own and anything you log here goes back. No double entry.

Appointments

Scans, tests and midwife visits

Kept next to everything else, so the appointment and the fortnight leading up to it are one screen rather than two apps.

Log it by talking, or by pointing a camera

The reason most tracking apps end up abandoned around week 20 is the typing. Hello Belly is chat-first, so “I weighed 68.4 this morning” or “slept badly, maybe five hours” is a complete entry — said out loud if you prefer, since dictation is built in. Photograph a plate and it becomes a nutrition entry. Photograph a supplement bottle and it becomes a supplement with its actual ingredients.

Everything you log stays yours. It is never sold, never used to advertise to you, and health values never leave for an analytics service.

Questions people ask

Is the pregnancy tracker free?

Yes. Every tracker — weight, belly, blood pressure, glucose, kicks, contractions, symptoms, mood, sleep, hydration, nutrition and supplements — is free, with no entry limit and no quota. Premium changes how the daily tips are paced and covers a partner on one subscription; it does not put a wall around your own data.

Does it have a kick counter and a contraction timer?

Both. The kick counter records a session with a tap per movement and shows the pattern across days. The contraction timer records length and the gap between contractions, which is what you'll be asked for when you ring the hospital.

Can I track what I eat during pregnancy?

Yes, and without typing grams. Photograph the meal and Hello Belly identifies it and logs protein, iron, folate, calcium, DHA, choline, fibre and caffeine against pregnancy targets. It reads supplement labels the same way, so a prenatal you photograph once counts toward the same daily totals.

Does it sync with Apple Health?

Yes, two-way, on iOS. Weight, hydration, steps, active energy, exercise minutes and resting heart rate flow both directions, so anything your watch or scale already records shows up here without you entering it twice.

Can I show all this to my midwife or doctor?

That's what the PDF report is for. One tap turns your weight curve, symptoms, supplements and adherence, and the rest of your entries into a document you can hand over or email before an appointment.

Can my partner see it too?

If you invite them. A family account shares the pregnancy — the same weeks, tips and journal — and one Premium subscription covers you both. You can remove them at any time.
