I feel everything, mom!

The baby has grown up and is gradually approaching the height and weight with which she will be born. But she still needs to roughly double her weight, so don't forget to eat a varied and full diet.

Your peanut has already developed all 5 senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch, therefore the small brain develops faster than ever. Connections between nerve cells in the brain are forming actively (and there are trillions of them, can you imagine!!!). Your baby is like a complex computer that can perform many actions at the same time. This week the areas of the little brain responsible for different functions also begin to specialize. Interestingly, does she herself even realize what a little genius she's becoming?

Speaking of the senses, the baby still can't use her sense of smell, because she is in the amniotic fluid and does not breathe in the way we are used to. But when she is born and breathes in, the first smell she feels will become her favorite. Guess what smell? It’s yours, mother's smell of course!

The little one has already developed some kind of routine: she sleeps longer and is more awake. Perhaps you even managed to understand at what time the baby likes to sleep — try to relax too at this moment. And if, on the contrary, you want to wake her up because she seems a little drowsy (for example, you came for an examination and want to make sure that the fetus is active, or you think that she has calmed down for a long time), eat something sweet, it works 100%.

And what does your little chick do while you are preparing the nest for her appearance? She makes faces, hiccups, swallows, breathes, “pedals” with arms and legs and sucks her thumb. Some babies suck their fingers so intensely while in the tummy that they are born with a callus on the thumb. What a sweet sucker!
