You may have heard the old wives’ tale that if you suffer frequently from heartburn during pregnancy, then the baby will be born with a full head of hair. Sounds ridiculous, right? But wait, scientists from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore decided to investigate this bit of folklore and came to a surprising correlation. An amazing 82% of all women surveyed who complained of heartburn gave birth to babies with beautiful heads of hair! Those who didn’t suffer from heartburn all the time almost always birthed completely bald kids.
