As my Granny said...
Let’s talk about another angle to help you with conception: herbs. You might feel some prejudice one way or the other when you hear this term, but the connection between diet and women's health is an established fact. From ancient wisdom to modern science, certain herbs and spices have been observed to affect women’s hormones and even increase their libido (folklore particularly likes warm spices like ginger, chili, and cloves for this purpose).
Chief among plants helpful for conception is sage. In ancient times, after wars and epidemics, women were obliged to take an infusion of these spicy, fragrant leaves. They contain substances similar to female hormones and help to create conditions suitable for conception in the uterus. As a rule, sage infusions are taken in doses of one teaspoon twice a day in the morning, on an empty stomach, and in the evening, before going to bed. But be careful, sage has a number of contraindications, so if you have chronic diseases, sage may not be an option for you. As always, we recommend that you consult with your doctor.
But sage isn’t the only plant in the "herbarium of pregnancy" — nettle, oat straw, alfalfa, raspberry leaves, basil… there are a lot of options! Remember, however, that infusions and teas can’t replace a visit to your doctor or any of the other things you need to do pre-conception!
