Tip by OB-GYN: Sex and pregnancy

Remember, in most cases, sex during pregnancy CANNOT harm a fetus. Baby's sex and its position in the uterine cavity do not matter and will not cause them to be harmed by intercourse!

However, it is worth remembering that during pregnancy, there may still be contraindications to sexual intercourse, but they are quite rare. If you have concerns you should consult your doctor and they will clearly tell you if sex is to be avoided.
