So many Mommies, so many diets!
"Do all future mothers eat the same things as I do?" In general, yes, but of course diets vary in their details for a number of reasons. Moms living in the south eat about 5% less than average, while those in the north consume about 10% more than average. If you move a lot, work, and expend a lot of energy, it is also logical that you will eat more calorie rich foods than moms who lie in bed. Slender mums should reach for food with double zeal, and some moms even manage to lose weight during pregnancy because they must regulate their diets!
