Everything Hello Belly has for week 9 — how your baby is developing, what your body is doing, and the small things that are easier to know in advance.

Your baby at 9 weeks
9–10 weeks
Look who got rid of his tail!! By the end of week 10, the baby's body finishes the fundamental forming of all the major organs and systems and the embryo now becomes a fetus. That is, the kid will officially get the status of being a human being!
Bones and muscles continue to grow and develop and joints have already formed (by the way, did you know that babies are born with a larger number of bones than adults and they do not have kneecaps at all?)
Your baby has telepathic abilities! No, he’s not reading your mind, but he is actively broadcasting his own thoughts by sending special signals from his tiny brain. Scientists believe that you will feel these signals as sudden changes in your own eating habits.
