Soups during pregnancy
Soup is a good friend in pregnancy: easy when you are nauseous, hydrating, and a simple way to get vegetables in. Heat it until it steams, right through to the middle. That is the whole rule — 165°F (74°C) for anything already cooked, canned soup and fridge leftovers included. Cool leftovers quickly, keep them covered and use them within a couple of days. Chilled soups you would not heat, like gazpacho or vichyssoise from a deli counter, are the exception. Make those at home from washed vegetables if you want them.
